Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Therapy Adapted to You

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps reduce the emotional charge and vividness of distressing memories. During sessions, clients are guided to briefly focus on past experiences while engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or tapping.

Serena Graf completed her EMDR training through an EMDRIA-approved virtual program in 2023. She offers EMDR to support individuals experiencing anxiety, psychological stress injuries, post-traumatic stress, sleep disturbance, and both acute and chronic pain. Sessions are tailored to your needs and delivered at a pace that prioritizes safety, comfort, and collaboration.

Adaptations are available for those with specific sensory or physical considerations. For example, bilateral tapping may be used in place of eye movements for clients with visual sensitivity or vertigo, in accordance with current clinical recommendations.
