Confidential Mental Health Care for High-Stress Roles

Working in frontline and emergency services can have a lasting impact on mental health. Serena Graf offers online and telephone counselling for police officers, firefighters, paramedics, corrections personnel, and healthcare professionals who are seeking confidential, non-judgmental support.

Serena has also completed the Level 1 Occupational Awareness Training via First Responder Health, a program designed and run by seasoned first responders and subject matter experts. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-informed mindfulness interventions. These evidence-based therapy and counselling services are used to support individuals coping with psychological stress injuries, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Each session is adapted to your specific needs. Whether you are navigating the long-term effects of critical incidents, managing burnout, or simply looking for a safe space to talk, the focus is on collaborative care without judgment or pressure.

Although Serena is based in Kamloops, BC, all services are delivered virtually. This means mental health and counselling support is available to first responders throughout British Columbia and beyond without the need to involve workplace systems.
